Welcome to California! We’ll meet in San Francisco Airport at 10 AM and head straight for one of the world’s most scenic routes — the 17-Mile Drive. Ocean cliffs, iconic golf courses, and the famous Lone Cypress will set the perfect tone for the journey.
Then we’ll explore Carmel-by-the-Sea — a charming town of fairytale cottages, art galleries, and quiet espresso corners.
In the evening, we’ll continue down the coast to unwind at a mineral hot springs spa. Warm water, ocean air, and the first stars above the Pacific will gently close our first day.

DAY 2 – BIG SUR: BRIDGES, WATERFALLS & DRAMATIC COAST

The morning begins on the legendary Big Sur coastline. Our first stop is the iconic Bixby Bridge, one of the most photographed bridges in America.
Next, we’ll take a coastal hike along rugged cliffs where waves crash against the granite and the scent of pines mixes with the ocean breeze.
Then we continue to the unforgettable McWay Falls — a waterfall that drops straight onto a hidden beach in a turquoise cove. This day is all about raw beauty, vast horizons, and that “edge of the world” feeling.

DAY 3 – HEARST CASTLE, MOUNTAIN VIEWS & A DANISH EVENING IN SOLVANG

We’ll start with something extraordinary — Hearst Castle, the hilltop palace built by William Randolph Hearst. Golden ceilings, Roman pools, ornate gardens, and Old Hollywood stories make it feel like stepping onto a living movie set.
After the tour, we’ll head out on a scenic overlook hike with sweeping views of the Pacific where rolling hills meet the ocean.
By evening, we’ll arrive in Solvang, California’s whimsical Danish village. Windmills, bakeries, and cozy restaurants will make our leisurely walk and dinner feel like a European getaway.

 

DAY 4 – SANTA BARBARA, GETTY VILLA & FAREWELL TO CALIFORNIA

We’ll spend the morning in elegant Santa Barbara — palm trees, Spanish-style architecture, and a soft ocean breeze.
After that, we’ll enjoy lunch at a beautiful oceanfront restaurant.
Then we’ll drive south along the coast and stop at the Getty Villa — a Roman-style villa-museum perched above the Pacific, where antiquity meets modern design.
By evening we’ll arrive at LAX. Flights can be scheduled after 7 PM, carrying with you the magic of sea, mountains, history, and California’s unforgettable light.

You will receive a full refund when canceling more than 30 days in advance. No refund will be issued when canceling 30 days or less prior to the trip start date.

We highly recommend purchasing additional travel insurance for your trip. This can be done through Nationwide, Allianz Travel, or your preferred insurance company.

Flight delays and cancellations do happen. TRVL360 will not be responsible for any additional costs associated with your travel to the starting point of the tour.
