DAY 1 – WELCOME TO ALASKA!
We meet at the Anchorage airport and head north, closer to the state's main mountain range. We settle into a cozy lodge offering panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks. We spend the evening surrounded by wilderness, gearing up for the adventures ahead.
DAY 2 – DENALI TRAILS & THE TRAIN JOURNEY
In the morning, we set off for an active hike along the scenic trails of Denali National Park.By midday, we board the legendary Alaska Railroad train. From the panoramic windows, we catch views of canyons, rushing rivers, and endless tundra completely hidden from the highways.
DAY 3 – FLIGHT OVER DENALI & NORTHERN VIBES
This morning features an unforgettable flight-seeing tour on a small plane over the highest peak in North America. The ultimate highlight of the flight is landing right on a historic glacier! (flight paid separately).In the afternoon, we explore a colorful historic gold-mining town and wrap up the day with a warm, family-style dinner.
DAY 4 – RIVER ADRENALINE OR ICE CLIMBING
A day of big choices! We face the rapids with a powerful rafting trip on the Matanuska River (included), followed by a hike up a high mountain pass toward abandoned gold mines and emerald lakes.For the boldest adventurers, there is a full-day ice climbing alternative: grab crampons and ice axes to scale real glacial walls (paid separately).
DAY 5 – KAYAKING & RECOVERY AT THE SPA
In the morning, we grab kayaks to explore the turquoise waters of a massive glacial lake framed by sheer cliffs. Following our active paddle, a well-deserved reward awaits: a visit to a unique outdoor Nordic spa set within a boreal forest, featuring thermal pools and hydrotherapy rituals.
DAY 6 – GLACIER CRUISE & FJORDS DISCOVERY
The grand finale of our journey: we head to the port of Whittier, where we board a maneuverable, high-speed vessel to navigate deep into sheltered fjords. We get closer to giant walls of ice than massive cruise ships can manage, witness glacier calving, and look for marine wildlife. In the evening, we return to Anchorage for homeward flights. Departure after 9:00 PM.Those wishing to stay can extend the trip for an extra day of deep-sea fishing.
