DAY 1 – ALPINE SERENITY
Welcome to the Canadian Rockies! We meet at Calgary airport in the afternoon and head straight toward the mountains. Our journey begins not with a hike, but with total relaxation. We’ll visit a world-class Nordic spa nestled in the wilderness to soak in thermal pools and prepare our muscles for the days ahead. After finding our zen, we settle into our base in the heart of the Banff area.
DAY 2 – GLACIER VIEWS AND AZURE WATERS
Our first full day starts with a 5:30 AM departure to experience the raw power of the high alpine. We will tackle a challenging ascent to a jagged peak that offers a 360-degree theater of glaciers and turquoise lakes. On our way back, we’ll stop at one of the most famous panoramic overlooks in the world to see water so blue it looks painted. It’s a demanding start, but the views are life-changing.
DAY 3 – THE CROWN JEWEL: LAKE LOUISE
We depart at 4:30 AM to beat the crowds at the legendary Lake Louise. This is a day of iconic scenery: we’ll climb high above the lake to reach historic mountain teahouses and narrow ridges that provide a bird’s-eye view of the shimmering water below. After conquering the "beehives" of the area, we’ll spend the afternoon enjoying the vibrant, cultured atmosphere of the Banff townsite.
DAY 4 – YOHO: THE LAND OF WONDER
A 5:00 AM start takes us across the continental divide into Yoho National Park. This is our most ambitious day – an 8 to 9-hour epic loop through a valley of waterfalls and massive glaciers. You’ll feel the mist of ancient ice on your face as we traverse high-altitude benches. We’ll conclude the adventure with a late lunch by a stunning emerald-colored lake before returning home to rest.
DAY 5 – MORAINE REFLECTIONS & THE FINAL CLIMB
On our final morning, we head to the world-renowned Moraine Lake. For those seeking one last thrill, we’ll take on a short but intense scramble up a steep stone tower for a perspective few tourists ever see. Afterward, we’ll take it slow, paddling bright red canoes across the glass-like water as the sun hits the peaks. At noon, we begin our journey back to Calgary, arriving at the airport by 2:30 PM. Flight can be scheduled after 4 PM.
