DAY 1 – ARRIVAL & BIG ISLAND INTRODUCTION
We’ll meet at Kona Airport and head to our hotel to settle in after the flight. After check-in, we’ll take a short walk and enjoy our first evening on the island, soaking in the warm Hawaiian atmosphere and getting ready for the adventure ahead.
DAY 2 – WHALE WATCHING ON THE BIG ISLAND
Today we head out into the ocean for an unforgettable whale-watching experience. The waters surrounding the Big Island are one of the best places in the world to observe these gentle giants up close. Seeing whales in their natural habitat is a powerful and humbling experience, whether they surface near the boat or breach in the distance. Later in the day, we’ll enjoy time exploring the island and taking in its dramatic coastal scenery.
DAY 3 – HILO & AKAKA WATERFALLS
We’ll travel to the lush eastern side of the island, arriving in Hilo, the island’s second-largest city. Along the way, we’ll stop at Akaka Falls, where tropical rainforest surrounds one of Hawaii’s most beautiful waterfalls. This part of the island feels completely different from Kona — greener, cooler, and full of life.
DAY 4 – MANTA RAY NIGHT SNORKELING
This is the most magical and unforgettable experience of the trip. After sunset, we’ll head into the ocean for a manta ray night snorkeling adventure. Floating in the water under the stars, we’ll watch as giant manta rays glide effortlessly beneath us, drawn by the light and plankton. Their size, grace, and closeness create a once-in-a-lifetime encounter that many travelers describe as otherworldly. This experience alone is worth the journey to the Big Island. Watch manta ray snorkeling here
DAY 5 – HIDDEN HIKE & FAREWELL SUNSETIn the morning, we’ll go on a secret hike through lush vegetation and wild passion fruit vines, discovering a quieter side of the island away from the crowds. In the afternoon, we’ll slow the pace and relax on the beach, taking time to reflect on the journey. We’ll finish the adventure with a spectacular Hawaiian sunset, before heading to Kona Airport. Flights can be scheduled after 8:00 PM.
