DAY 1 – INTRODUCTION TO KAUAI
We will meet at the airport and head out to our hotel located right on the beach shore. What could be better than taking a dip in the ocean after a long flight?
DAY 2 – WHALE WATCHING FROM THE RAFT
We will be sailing on a raft looking for the biggest mammals – whales. This is the best opportunity to get as close as possible to these giants. Also, this is the only way to see the rocky northern coast of the island. The view of Kawaii at this angle is one of the famous postcard shots of Hawaii. Surprisingly, it’s quite rare that anyone makes it out here. Then we will hike in the iconic Waimea Canyon.
DAY 3 – NO DOORS HELICOPTER RIDE
Imagine yourself flying in an open helicopter (you will need to select this extra package under the activities tab) over a huge green canyon, watching hundreds of waterfalls from above. This is how film creators imagine our planet during the dinosaur era. Many scenes from Jurassic Park were filmed here. Then we'll fly to the Big Island of Hawaii.
DAY 4 – HILO AND AKAKA WATERFALL
Today, we will head south and arrive at the second most important city, Hilo. Along the way, we’ll explore an amazing part of the Island of Hawaii: Akaka Waterfalls. In the evening, we'll head out to the ocean to experience an unforgettable night swimming with mantas.
DAY 5 – VOLCANO NP AND MAUNA KEA
Have you ever seen hot lava glow in the dark? To do this, we will have to get up at 3 am and head to Volcanoes National Park. In the pre-dawn twilight, flashes of lava are mesmerizing. We'll drive to the highest mountain on Earth (How so? — you may ask. We'll explain!) to see the sunset.
DAY 6 – FAREWELL SUNSET ON THE BEACH
In the morning we will go on a secret hike in a thicket of wild passion fruit. In the afternoon we will rest on the beach waiting for the spectacular sunset. Well-deserved! We'll arrive at the airport at 6:00 PM, departure after 8:00 PM.
