DAY 1 – ARRIVING IN TOKYO
You can arrive any time. We will explain how to get to our hotel, where we will meet you. If you arrive early, you will have time for your first acquaintance with Tokyo!
DAY 2 – FUJI AND HOT SPRINGS
On our way north, we will ask the great Mount Fuji to show itself – and we hope it will be kind to us! We will walk through the legendary Aokigahara forest and will learn to appreciate life even more. We will spend the evening in a mountain village, enjoying natural hot springs.
DAY 3 – PROVINCIAL JAPANESE FAIRYTALE
Today we will visit two unique destinations with distinctive atmosphere and incredibly beautiful architecture. By the end of the walk, many will want to move here, but we suggest simply visiting again.
DAY 4 – KYOTO: FUSHIMI INARI TEMPLE AND GIYON
Coming to Japan and not visiting this iconic temple would be a shame, so we will definitely pass under the numerous gates to the temple! And then we will go to the Nishiki market!
DAY 5 – ARASHIYAMA FOREST AND A SACRED MOUNTAIN
We will spend the morning in a bamboo forest, after which we will travel to Mount Koya and walk around the area where dozens of beautiful temples are located. After dinner prepared by the monks and a good night's sleep, we will go...
DAY 6 – ENCHANTED WATERFALL
…to a morning prayer. After that we will go down the dizzying mountain serpentines to a magnificent waterfall and temple.
DAY 7 – MOUNTAIN GORGE AND A SEA OF SAKURA
We will enjoy beautiful views of wild Japanese nature and take a boat ride along the gorge. After that, we will go to the top of the mountain, which offers a wonderful view of three thousand blossoming sakuras.
DAY 8 – NARA AND RETURN TO TOKYO
Today we will visit the ancient capital of Japan – Nara. We will walk through parks, perhaps meet some local deer, go to the market for souvenirs and some street food; after which we will return to Tokyo.
DAY 9 – FREE DAY IN TOKYO
Depending on what time your flight is – we suggest dedicating this day to Japanese fashion, gifts and indulging in gastronomic paradise.
