DAY 1 – INTO THE HEART OF THE FJORDS
Our Norwegian journey begins at 9 AM in Bergen (we recommend arriving the day before to be ready for the start). We head straight to the water for a world-class cruise through a narrow, UNESCO-listed fjord, where steep mountains rise vertically from the emerald depths. After the cruise, we’ll explore the surrounding heritage park on foot, enjoying several short but stunning 2–3 hour hikes to take in the sheer scale of the landscape. We’ll settle into our hotel in a charming village by the water for the night.
DAY 2 – THE THUNDER OF CASCADING WATERS
Today is dedicated to the raw power of Norway’s waterfalls. We head to one of the country’s most iconic vertical drops, where the water plunges into a deep canyon. We’ll hike through the rugged terrain to find the best vantage points, crossing innovative bridges that hang directly over the abyss. It’s a day of misty air, dramatic cliffs, and the rhythmic sound of nature at its most forceful.
DAY 3 – THE ICONIC RIDGE
Get your cameras ready for one of the most famous hikes in the world. We set out to reach a legendary rock formation that juts out horizontally above a shimmering blue lake, thousands of feet below. This is a rewarding trek that offers some of the most recognizable views in Scandinavia. After a long day on the trail, we’ll retreat to our hotel to soothe our muscles in an outdoor sauna and jacuzzi, overlooking the quiet evening fjords.
DAY 4 – MOUNTAIN LAKES AND HIDDEN VALLEYS
We continue our southern loop, heading toward a dramatic fjord known for its steep walls and adventurous spirit. We’ll spend the afternoon exploring a serene mountain lake hidden deep in the highlands, where we’ll find winding trails that offer total immersion in the wilderness. As the sun begins to set, we make our way back toward Bergen, returning to the city for the evening.
DAY 5 – THE GATEWAY TO THE FJORD
Our final morning is yours to enjoy. We will be based in a hotel within walking distance of the airport, providing the perfect opportunity to leave your luggage and explore the historic streets of the city at your own pace. Wander through the colorful wharf or visit the local fish market one last time. You can schedule your departure flight for any time today.
